East Morchies - Water Damage
Restoration of an item to preloss condition may not be possible when it has suffered irreparable damage due to contact with moisture, contamination, or physical damage. During the initial inspection, most items fitting this description should be listed on a schedule of loss, set aside for review by an adjuster, and, if approved, discarded and replaced. This action necessitates discussions with all materially interested parties. Exceptions can occur where, due to the emotional or monetary value of an item, the customer decides to overlook the irreparable damage and accept the item in a less than preloss condition.
If removal of a structural component is necessary due to permanent damage, the actual removal may have to be delayed due to containment. In such case where removing the material will result in a loss of containment.
SERVPRO always communicates and seeks the approval from all interested parties along the restoration process.
